A driver who smashed a gate at a beauty spot in the north of the Island has been branded "selfish" and "stupid".
A Ramsey resident posted photos to a local Facebook group showing the badly-damaged gate at the Ayres National Nature Reserve.
They say nearby vehicle tracks show it had been hit by a vehicle overnight.
Comments on the post call the driver "ignorant".
