Police are warning drivers to take it easy on the roads this morning - after the Met Office issued an amber weather alert about ice.
Overnight, temperatures fell below freezing on higher ground, and forecasters say higher routes above around 800 feet are especially at risk as well as sheltered low-lying spots.
The weather warning runs until 10am this morning.
Police are urging people to drive to the conditions.
