A woman from Ramsey will be sentenced in the New Year after being caught driving over the Mountain Road whilst drunk.
32-year-old Charlotte Ann Pattison, of Royal Park, was more than three times the legal limit when police arrested her on Tuesday/November 20th.
Officers were contacted by a concerned member of the public at around 8.30pm - she'd been following Pattison from Douglas to Ramsey.
The woman described how she'd seen her swerve across the carriageway and speed up, and slow down, repeatedly.
When officers attended Pattison's home address at 8.45pm they found her intoxicated - she claimed she'd drunk two bottles of wine on her return home; something her mother denied.
At Douglas Courthouse yesterday/on Thursday Pattison admitted the offence - a social enquiry report has been requested before she's sentenced on January 10th..
Bail was granted.
