A Ramsey woman who crashed her car in icy conditions after drink-driving has been banned from the roads for 12 months.
61 year old Rita Margaret Callister admitted driving whilst over the limit when she appeared before Deputy High Bailiff Jayne Hughes.
The court heard Callister, of Gardners Lane, crashed on the Creg ny Baa Back Road on December 27 and had to be cut free from her car - a blood test later showed she was over the limit.
Mrs Hughes fined her £900, ordered her to pay costs of £50 and Callister will have to pass an extended driving test to get her licence back once her ban expires.
