A drink driver had never retaken his test after he was banned 20 years ago.
Alan Robinson, of Murray's Road in Douglas, appeared before magistrates at Douglas Courthouse.
The 58-year-old admitted drink-driving and driving while disqualified after being arrested on Derby Square in Douglas on April 23 - tests showed he was one and a half times over the legal limit.
The court heard he'd been banned in 2004 but never retaken his test.
He was fined a total of £2,000, ordered to pay £125 costs and banned from the roads for two years.
