A motorist nearly drove over a cliff after drinking a bottle of prosecco.
Allison Burns, of Hillberry Lakes in Douglas, appeared before magistrates at Douglas Courthouse.
The 44-year-old admitted drink-driving and having no licence following the incident on Marine Drive on January 17 this year.
A witness saw Burns take a sharp turn leading to a car park at around 3.20pm before driving into bushes near a cliff edge.
Police were called and found an empty bottle of prosecco - tests showed Burns was two and a half times over the drink drive limit.
The case was adjourned until May 23 for a social enquiry report and Burns was bailed on condition she doesn't drive.
