Douglas’s new lifeboat is on its journey back to the island today.
A crew from the capital’s RNLI station went to Poole in Dorset to collect the Trent-class vessel.
They’ve been training up on procedures for the new boat, including emergency steering, man overboard and fire drills.
Named the Betty Huntbatch, it will replace the station's aging Mersey-class lifeboat.
