Police conduct further investigations into RTC that killed 65 year old local man
The main Douglas to Castletown Road in Santon will be closed to the public tomorrow so investigations can continue into a fatal road traffic collision which occurred during TT week.
It’s in relation to the incident that claimed the life of local 65 year old man Robert Kneale.
A 42-year-old Australian man Craig Waghorn has been charged with causing death by dangerous driving.
It happened on the evening of Monday 6th June.
The road will be closed between Ballavale Road and the Blackboards with HGV’s being diverted along the Ballasalla to St Marks Road.
Police wish to apologise for any inconvenience caused to the public and state that they will open the road as soon as the investigation is complete.
