A Douglas resident has launched a petition to improve parking availability for those who live in the city.
Andrea Krueger aims to 'stabilize the parking situation' for those who already live in the area and 'face a daily struggle for parking spaces.'
The petition focuses on 'Disc Zone H' and the proposed development for Westmoreland Road, which Andrea says would have 'insufficient parking provision.'
The aim is for Disc Zone H to be converted into a 'Residents Parking Only' zone, and for occupants of any new property developments in the area to be excluded from receiving roadside permits.
Andrea adds that the petition has already been signed by over 400 people on paper.
