A driver who took a trip to the Sound to 'clear his head' has admitted dangerous driving after he crashed his van three times.
Marc Duncan of Ballaughton Lane in Douglas appeared before Deputy High Bailiff Rachael Braidwood at Douglas Courthouse.
The 37-year-old admitted dangerous driving, failing to stop following an accident and driving a vehicle in a dangerous condition.
Duncan drove his Vauxhall Vivaro to the Sound around midnight on February 12 but crashed into a wall in Port Erin, a concrete traffic island in Ballasalla and ran over a roundabout damaging a tyre.
Sentencing was adjourned until May 21 for a social enquiry report and Duncan was bailed in the sum of £500.
