Douglas library relocation proves a success

The Henry Bloom Noble library has relocated to the old Topshop building on Duke Street - Jan Macartney is the borough librarian:

 

 

It also has a downstairs study area with learning resources, a children's area where storytelling will take place and access to e-books and audio books. 

 

Now opposite the bus station, Jan says staff hope to attract people in while they're waiting, offering the space as a place to sit without obligation:
