Douglas has a new piece of lifesaving equipment, thanks to a local authority and a Manx charity.
A new defibrillator has been installed at Shaw's Brow car park after Douglas Council and Craig's Heartstrong Foundation teamed up.
The unit has been fixed to the car park's external wall in Barrack Street at the junction with Church Street.
The equipment can be accessed by the public and can significantly increase people's chances of survival if they suffer cardiac arrest.
