Police are appealing for witnesses after an attack left a man with what officers say are "significant injuries".
The incident happened on Saturday just before midnight outside Marks & Spencer on Wellington Street in Douglas.
Officers from the Eastern Neighbourhood Policing Team are asking anyone who was in the area at the time who saw anything to come forward.
