The parole hearing of Peter Newbery, the man who murdered two teenagers in care back in 2002, will be heard this Friday.
Newbery was sentenced to life in prison, with a minimum term of 20 years for killing 16 year olds George Green and Samantha Barton in 2002.
Both of the teenagers had been sexually assaulted and strangled by Newbery, his conviction came the following year.
The family members of George Green have been speaking about the prospect of bumping into Newbery should his release be granted this week.
George's mother Margaret said the daily heartbreak they continue to feel is now joined by an anxiety and a fear they should come face-to-face with her sons killer.
His sister Kathryn said although Peter Newbery will still be a young man when he gets out, the life sentence they feel never goes away.
