Double-header of qualifying planned

It's hoped a double-header of qualifying planned today will make up for lost time in this year's Festival of Motorcycling.

The afternoon schedule will see roads around the TT course close from 12.30pm until 4.30pm, before shutting again from 6pm and re-opening no later than 9pm.

Officials are hoping contingencies today and tomorrow will allow racers to get more practice in following a series of cancellations since Saturday.

Yesterdays practice session was the latest to be called off due to poor weather on Island.
