Douglas Council is warning people not to fall for scammers who are targeting a fun day it's holding next month.
The Noble's Park Fun Day takes place on Saturday, August 3.
The local authority is taking bookings for stalls - but says Facebook scammers are posing as the council and asking for money.
It says it never asks for payments over Facebook - you can book a stall through this link.
