Walkers are asked to be mindful at this time of year as beach nesting birds start to lay their eggs.
The Manx Wildlife Trust says as so many species are highly endangered, beach and dog walkers should be careful.
All beaches in the north of the Island are breeding ground, with signs up in the Cronk y Bing Nature Reserve saying dogs must be kept on a short lead in the area until the end of July.
The Wildlife Trust recommends walking in less sensitive inland areas throughout this period, such as glens and plantations.
