55 year old Nicholas Fleming of no fixed address admitted breaching a Domestic Abuse Protection Order when he appeared before Deputy High Bailiff Rachael Braidwood at Douglas Courthouse.
The hearing was told he'd been given the order on August 27, to prevent him contacting a named woman - but on September 7, less than two weeks later, police found him at her address in Douglas.
He was sentenced to six weeks in jail, suspended for a year.
