The Mountain Road has been closed between Lheany Road, Ramsey and the Bungalow due to severe ice on the Verandah.
Part of the road was closing to traffic and pedestrians from 9:30am to 12:30pm today for urgent edgeline reinstatement anyway, but it has now been closed early.
Areas affected by the works are the road's junction with Barrule Park in Ramsey to the Sulby Glen Road whilst the edgelines are reinstated for road safety purposes.
