There'll be more free parking in Douglas thanks to the Department of Infrastructure.
In the run up to Christmas free disc parking will be available on part of Douglas promenade from Thursday, November 23 until Monday, January 8.
The designated are is between the war memorial and the bottleneck car park where people can park free of charge for up to two hours.
The plan comes at the same time as late-night shopping and Christmas festivities in the Island's capital.
