Motorists have been asked to drive with care today due to the bad weather.
The Department of Infrastructure has crews working around the Island clearing blocked areas.
The stormy weather is also causing disruption to sailings – tonight’s crossing to Heysham at 7.45pm is at risk of being cancelled.
A further announcement is due from the Steam Packet Company at 2pm.
