The Department of Infrastructure says prom repairs will cost more than £220,000.
The figure was revealed after engineers assessed the damage to both Douglas and Ramsey promenade following Storm Emma.
The DOI says resurfacing Douglas prom walkway will cost approximately £30,000, and repairing the damaged railings will cost around £12,000.
However, Ramsey's been worst hit, repairing the extent of the damage will cost approximately a staggering £180,000.
