The Department of Infrastructure says it can't reveal how many repairs, complaints and incidents there have been on North Quay in Douglas because it's personal information.
A Freedom of Information request asked how many such reports there'd been between 2005 and 2015.
In its response, the department said it couldn't reveal the details of incidents between Queens Corner and Banks Hill.
It said the information was absolutely exempt under FOI laws because it was personal information and supplying it would breach data protection legislation.
