DOI reminds people to stay away from Storm Bram cleanup

The Department of Infrastructure is reminding people to stay out of closed roads as the clean-up after yesterday’s storm continues.

Workers are out across the Island clearing up the mess left by Storm Bram, which lashed the Isle of Man yesterday afternoon.

The DOI says the clean-up operation is continuing, and is reminding people to stay away from roads marked as closed.

Mullinaragher in St Marks will be reviewed at 1.30pm, while Jacks Lane in Maughold and Laxey Promenade are due to reopen around 1pm and Shore Road in Rushen expected to reopen at 4pm.

Captain's Hill in Laxey has also closed after a tree fell - it's due to reopen at around 3.30pm.
