Infrastructure Minister Tim Crookall says his department's spent more than £1.5 million maintaining Ramsey Cottage Hospital over the last five years.
He was asked a question for written reply by Ramsey MHK Dr Alex Allinson about work on the facility which has been partly closed for work since last year.
Mr Crookall said the DOI carries out work there, some of which is then paid for by Manx Care.
And he said in total, £1.5 million had been spent on the site since 2021 - including more than £317,000 on urgent jobs.
