The Department of Infrastructure says it has more than 400 car parking spaces for government workers.
A Freedom of information request to the DOI asked how many car parks had spaces reserved for government workers and how many there were in total.
In its response, the department said it managed 19 car parks which had spaces set aside for the public sector workers, but added some departments have their own parking arrangements.
In total, 434 parking spaces reserved for government staff - some in public car parks such as Chester Street, while others are in private car parks such as the Isle of Man Courts.
