People are being asked to choose well when looking to access health services over the New Year period.
The Department of Health says it’s easy to assume that the only care available is a trip to accident and emergency or calling an ambulance at this time of year.
However, other services will still be running and shall continue to operate either with reduced hours or via emergency drop-in clinics.
The department says the public is responsible for deciding on the most appropriate method of care at this time.
