Port Erin Coastguards went to the rescue of a dog and its owner who got stuck on cliffs earlier today.
This afternoon, the emergency services were called to Bradda Head where they found the pooch after its owner used a whistle to signal where they were.
A cliff technician brought Rum the dog to safety, followed by his owner - both were described as cold and shaken.
The coastguards say dogs may be part of the family but you should resist the urge to try rescuing them from cliffs yourself and instead alert the experts.
