Arbory and Rushen Commissioners are urging residents to report a dog owner who it claims is letting their pet rip out tree saplings and protective tubes.
The local authority believes an uncontrolled dog has wrecked Ballakilley Park, which isn't yet open to the public.
It says considerable time and effort as well as ratepayers' money has been spent on the planting scheme and it's determined to see the individual prosecuted.
Trees were planted last year by volunteers from local charities and businesses and has been maintained by the commissioners since then.
