The Department of Health and Social Care will be looking for nearly £12million in support next week to build a new care home on Island.
DHSC Minister, David Ashford MHK, will ask members of Tynwald to approve £11.7million in funding to help create the new 60-bed Summerhill View home, which is aiming to eventually replace the Reayrt ny Baie facililty.
Just over £750,000 has already been approved to cover design fees and enabling works.
The issue will be discussed when Tywnald meets virtually next Tuesday (June 16) from 10.30am.
