The Department of Economic Development has refused to answer a series of questions about the costs of TT.
In a freedom of information request, the DED was asked about the salaries of those in the Motorsport Development Group, as well as the costs of security, portable toilets, work in Nobles Park and the campsite there.
The department says wages are personal information - and the other questions involve commercial contracts and so won't be answered.
However, it did reveal it spent £1.1 million on riders' appearance fees and travel allowances.
