The Department of Education and Children says it won't be commenting further after revealing Creationism is taught in Island schools.
The information emerged in response to a freedom of information request made to the department.
In its reply, it said the belief is being taught or discussed in 21 out of the Island's 37 schools - and in 11 cases by people other than teachers.
The DEC says it doesn't want to comment on the figures.
