The management of 2014 Queen Scallop fishery is the topic of a new consultation as DEFA look to introduce new measures.
The focus is on sustainability of stocks, with concentration on issues like minimum landing size, weekend bans and fishing curfews.
One of the proposals will see a change to the licence needed to fish for the scallops, reducing bureaucracy to create an easier process.
