A deemster has thrown out a small claims court's decision about a £3,000 loan.
Pli Gavin lent Nararat Jones the money in November 2017, and took the case to court in November 2019.
That hearing found for Mrs Gavin, ordering Mrs Jones to pay £2,950 as well as court costs.
But Deemster Needham said the small claims court hadn't taken into account how much of the money had been repaid already, and whether the loan agreement included interest.
He set aside the original adjudication award.
