Bus drivers have begun their first day of strike action today in reaction to changes to their terms and conditions.
It means the bus service will be severely disrupted and other modes of transport will be brought into action.
Hundreds of schoolchildren will be reliant on the steam railway and electric tram services.
The remaining bus drivers who are not striking will be operating to a Sunday schedule.
