Days left to register to vote

There are just days left to get onto the electoral register this year, giving you the right to vote in local and national elections.

The electoral register is being updated, and residents have until Saturday to return their forms.

The government says not being registered can affect your credit reference history - possibly seeing mortgage, loan or mobile phone contracts being turned down.

The electoral Registration Unit says if you haven't had a form yet, you can contact it on 685754.
