Data breaches included sensitive info about children

The Isle of Man's Information Commissioner says 65 personal data breaches were reported between April and June, including sensitive info about children.

The breaches put an estimated 10,750 people at risk, though that's down from 16,600 in the previous quarter of the last financial year.

Five of the incidents involved schools, for example children's sensitive medical information being left on display on a wall.

Another case involved the address of an estranged parent being disclosed despite known safeguarding concerns.
