Garff commissioners say they'll make you trim your unsafe bush if you won't do it voluntarily.
The local authority took to Facebook to remind people they have a duty to make sure their hedges and other foliage don't obstruct pavements, roads or streetlights.
They say there are places where bushes are causing problems and are warning they have the power to serve notices forcing owners to take action.
The board says they're currently taking action in several places across Garff.
