The 80th anniversary of the D-Day landings will be celebrated across the Island with 10 days of bagpipes.
Between May 28 and June 6, ‘Highland Laddie’ will play out from 8am at various locations as a countdown to the day.
It’s the final part of an 80-day countdown across different regions of the UK and British Crown Dependencies.
Speaking to 3FM, piper Alistair Lothian is one of the six bagpipers who will be heard on-Island:
