The price of a coffee has risen 13.1 per cent in the past twelve months, while tea's gone up by 16 per cent.
Overall inflation in December jumped from 3.8 per cent to 4.1 per cent, measured by the consumer prices index.
It's the second month in a row the headline figure has risen.
