Work starts today to improve a pedestrian crossing on a busy road in the capital.
The Department of Infrastructure says its workers will be out on York Road in Douglas today.
They'll install a new high-friction surface at the crossing, and hope to finish the work before the end of the school day.
The department says there may be some delays as traffic controls are needed.
