Infrastructure Minister Tim Crookall says he won't be standing again in this year's general election.
He's represented Glenfaba and Peel as its MHK since 2021.
Mr Crookall has thanked everyone who's supported him over his 19-year political career, saying there's never been a dull moment.
He added it's now time for him to move on and dedicate more time to his wife, children and grandchildren.
