Criminals behind burglaries are too clued up, say police

It follows further burglaries over the last few days in the Douglas area - officers are choosing now not to release specific details. 

 

There have now been over 45 crimes recorded since January. 

 

Police say a number of positive lines of enquiry and operational initiatives are "in play" - including plain clothed officers working around the Island. 

 

However, they won't release further information, saying they don't believe it is helping in the efforts to catch those responsible.
