Firefighters were mobilised this morning following reports of a house fire in Douglas.
Crews from the capital were called to Victoria Road at 11.15am and found smoke billowing from the first floor of the property.
Teams quickly found the source of the flames which were extinguished with high pressure hose reels.
Personnel were at the scene for around two hours which saw the road around the building cordoned off for a short time.
