A County Durham man will stand trial after denying assaulting another man in Maughold.
45-year-old Nicholas Rowbotham, who's from Hartlepool, appeared at Douglas Courthouse last week.
He's accused of common assault and provoking behaviour allegedly took place at Port Cornaa on November 13th last year.
A pre-trial review will take place on March 30th - he's been bailed in the meantime.
Update: Prosecutors offered no evidence against Mr Rowbotham and the charges were withdrawn in March 2017 - he was also awarded costs of just over £1,350.
