Douglas Council staff have been praised for 'pulling out all the stops' with the capital's Christmas lights.
Councillors say the workforce have done the city proud, and gone above and beyond in wet and miserable conditions.

Claire Wells, Doulas Council Leader, says they feel it's important to provide that festive touch and help add some Christmas cheer.
She adds that it's great too that so many people turn out and support our retailers.
