Douglas Council says its new four year plan is 'ambitious and realistic'.
It's set out a 'statement of intent' for 2017-2021- the council says the plan provides 'focus and direction' at a time of 'mounting pressures on budgets'.
It says it wants to ensure Douglas is a town where people want to live, work, visit and invest.
Town centre regeneration features heavily with the council 'committed' to creating an 'open for business' image that welcomes new enterprise and investment.
It says it will continue to invest in its assets, maintain and grow housing stock and develop leisure attractions to enhance the visitor experience.
