The leader of Douglas Council has hit out at "ill-informed comments" on social media about the tender process for the Bottleneck car park beer tent.
David Christian says bidding has opened to find out who'll run the site from next year - adding the local authority has a duty to find the best value for ratepayers' money.
Mr Christian, who's currently in France, says Bushy's Brewery have been kept informed of the latest developments.
But he also criticised people who'd been demanding a response on social media, saying he refuses to enter into a debate online.
