Could Douglas Council move back to weekly bin collections?
That's the hope of Councillor Karel Ver Elst, who's put a motion forward for debate by the local authority.
He's called for residents to be consulted about scrapping the fortnightly collections - on the understanding moving back to weekly bin collections could cost ratepayers more.
The motion will be discussed when councillors meet on Wednesday, June 10 from 2.30pm in Douglas City Hall on Ridgeway Street.
