Plans could be in place to bring the Island's statutory leave entitlement in line with the rest of the UK.
As it stands the legal minimum leave figure on island is 20 days, whereas in the UK it's 28.
The Department for Enterprise say they are currently working on plans to update employment legislation, and a proposal to align the leave entitlement with the UK will be included in that consultation.
The 20 days holiday is of course just a statutory minimum and many on Island employers offer more leave for their staff.
